Galway’s Tim MacDonagh and the Jackie Lee-owned gelding Hollypark Galloway claimed victory in Saturday’s fifth round of the TRM/Horse Sport Ireland New Heights Champions Series at Omagh Show in Co Tyrone.

One of just five combinations to jump clear in the opening round, they completed a faultless performance when crossing the line clear in 49.59 seconds in the jump-off to take the winners prize. Waterford’s Tholm Keane and BMH Big Time added to their league points tally with a runner-up finish when clear in 50.38.

The only other double clear round came from Kevin Gallagher and Ballypatrick Flamenco who took third place in 54.30. League leaders, Francis Connors and Erne Ladygoldilocks, posted the fastest four fault round of the jump-off (50.02) to finish fourth, just ahead of Robert Harrison and Landlystes Rublina in fifth (52.25). James Hogg and Intuitive completed the top six with the fastest four fault score of the first round.

The next round of the TRM/Horse Sport Ireland New Heights Champions Series will take place at Cork Summer Show on Sunday July 14th.
