TRM and The Curragh Racecourse are delighted to announce they will extend their partnership for the 2020 racing season.
The partnership will include sponsorship of a series of very competitive handicaps, kicking off with the TRM Spring Fillies Premier Handicap on Friday 26th June, day one of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival.
A variety of incentives to benefit stable staff will also feature as part of the partnership and will help celebrate the hard work and dedication of thousands of people who are associated with the horse racing industry. The TRM ‘Best Turned Out Winners Draw’ will be rolled out across the season. Every winner of a Best Turned Out prize will gain entry into a draw and will be in with a chance of winning €1,000 at the end of the season and each winner will also receive a TRM-Curragh gilet. This initiative will give The Curragh and TRM an additional platform to Champion stable staff throughout the season.
TRM and The Curragh will continue to support The TRM Stable Staff Appreciation Month throughout August, activating a sponsorship series of four races across the Curragh’s four fixtures on the 9th, 14th, 22nd and 28th August and provide a variety of incentives for stable staff to come racing. The leading trainer of the TRM series will receive a prize to benefit their staff.
TRM will also sponsor the historic TRM Waterford Testimonial Stakes (Listed) on Sunday 11th October”
TRM and The Curragh will also invite all grooms who have won a best turned out award during the season to a pre race event to take place on the finale of the Curragh season on 6th November to acknowledge their work with the presentation of Special Merit Awards
