Paddy Reape and Annabel Shields Triumph on Consecutive Days at TRM®️ | SJC Spring Tours

Last weekend we hosted 2 TRM®️ | SJC Spring Tours across the country. On Saturday, March 9th, the action was at Banner Equestrian Centre Co. Clare, followed by Killossery Lodge Stud in Co. Kildare on Sunday, March 10th.

At Banner Equestrian Centre, 33 combinations tackled the course, with 21 making it to the second round. The triumphant duo of the day was Paddy Reape aboard Creevagh Special, securing victory in a time of 33.57 seconds. Owned by Jonathon Reape, Creevagh Special,  by Camiro de Haar Z out of Creevagh Harlequin Lady, showcased a fantastic performance. Paddy Reape was also award the Leading JU/YR prize.. Aimee Barry, riding Garryndruig Limoncello, closely followed in second place in a time of 33.93 seconds, with Sven Hadley securing the third and fourth positions aboard Uidam and Sumas Taloubet, respectively. Annabel Shields, aboard the promising 8-year-old Lapstan, claimed the fifth spot, while Damien Griffin riding ESI Hamshire finished sixth.

Moving to Killossery Lodge Stud on Sunday,  41 combinations took on the course, with 17 advancing to the jump-off. Annabel Shields once again showcased her talent, claiming victory riding Creevagh Carisma, a 14-year-old mare with an impressive time of 42.42 seconds. This was Shields’ 3rd win of the league and  propelled her to the top of the leaderboard with 37 points. Niamh O’Connor Barry, riding Drumiller Vegas who is currently in 3rd position of the leaderboard, secured the second position, closely trailed by James Brennan, who clinched third place & the Leading JU/YR bonus riding MHS I’m the One. Ethan Ahearne, aboard the promising 8-year-old LVS Goldrush H, claimed the fourth spot, followed by Derek O’Connell riding Inlaws Manolo and Ausra Clarke aboard Janco-V, in fifth and sixth places, respectively.

Orla Queally representing TRM®️ and TRM ambassador Robyn Moran had the honor of presenting the TRM®️ product packs to the deserving winners, symbolizing TRM®️’s continuous support for Irish Showjumping and its athletes.
