North Run

Owned by trainers Missy Clark and her husband John Brennan, North Run is home to national equitation champions and successful national and international Grand Prix riders. Based out of North Run’s facility in Warren, VT and Wellington, FL, Missy and John have produced stars from the equitation ring to the international show jumping arena. Missy’s involvement in the sport goes beyond coaching and training. She serves on several USEF and USHJA committees including the jumper committee and the equitation committee. 

Originally from Ireland, Johnplays an active role in the business, doing much of the riding and training along with Missy. John came to the U.S. in 1987 and joined North Run in 1999. Missy and John were married in 2003. John served as the Chef d’Equipe for the 2006 North American Young Riders Champion Zone 1 Team and has been the Chef d’Equipe of the successful Zone 1 Prix des States Junior Jumper Team at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show for many years.
