South County Dublin – The Bagnall, Doyle MacMahon Premier Grand Prix part of the Horseware/ TRM Premier Series sponsored by Bagnall, Doyle MacMahon and supported by Showjumping Ireland took place today on day two of the South County Show and carried a prize fund of €10,000
The seventh and penultimate leg of the Premier Series attracted 16 riders to take on Alan Wade’s track and 4 competitors went through to the jump off .
It was Daniel Coyle from Derry who took the top spot with John Carr’s Zuidam, the 10 year old stallion by Guidam out of an Indoctro mare.
Second was Gerard Clarke on Ardragh Stein, the 10 year old Gelding by Ekstein and third place went to Vincent Byrne on Hannibal V Overis.

Northern Ireland’s Peter Smyth scored his second LST win of the season at South County Dublin Show, which was held at Coilog Equestrian Centre in Co Kildare. The Tyrone native claimed a hard fought win with Sigrid Jackel’s ten year old Aldato gelding Almiro, adding to the winner’s rosette Smyth secured in the second leg of the series at Ravensdale with Admiran Cassio.
The 2014 Horseware/ TRM National Premier Series now moves to Coilog Equestrian Centre for the final on Sunday 31st August.
